“Toxic Men Link Up!”: Chris Brown and Tory Lanez Dragged By Fans After Releasing New Song Together

Tory Lanez is doing his best to try and shift the narrative from his past woes surrounding the 2020 summer incident with Megan Thee Stallion.  Over the past few months, Tory has been releasing new music, including the highly polarizing September album Daystar.  After his last album Loner released in December failed to chart anywhere, Lanez is going hard to change that with its follow-up.

Back in January, Lanez began to turn up the ante by speaking on the upcoming music.  “I’m very excited to show y’all this R&B CAPSULE,” he tweeted out in January on his upcoming Playboy Capsule album.  “It’s the first time I got to produce a full R&B experience without everybody else’s samples. And it truly came from a place of vulnerability and honest thoughts… VERY RELATABLE… AND VERY FIRE.”

With all of the drama surrounding his legal issues, many artists pulled their support from Lanez following.  However, the Canadian singer was able to unleash collaborations with some heavy hitters lately.  After dropping his single and video for his recent Lil’ Wayne collaboration, he’s now given his fans another song featuring frequent collaborator Chris Brown.

Last month, Lanez teased the pair’s musical effort.   “Me & Bro [Chris Brown] GOT A CRAZY ONE #Feels SONG + VISUALS on the Way !!!” he wrote while sharing a photo of Chris and himself. “#2021OneUmbrella WE NOT PLAYING FAIR.”  Lanez would continue to tease his fans in the coming weeks with a preview of the song.  “THIS IS MY NEW SINGLE !!!!!!!! TORY x [Chris Brown] …. #FEELS ….. THIS FRIDAY !!!” Tory announced while teasing that the video could possibly also debut as well.

The wait is now over as fans of both artists can now both see and hear what the two have to offer in their new song “F.E.E.L.S.”  The seductive song boasts lyrics of pleasing their respective woman and their plans for them.  “Loving you right, loving you right, loving you / Touching you right, touching you right, touching you / Feels for the night, best time of our lives / Loving you right, loving you right, loving you,” sings Tory on the hook. Tory has also shared a possibility of a collaborative album between the two.

Following the release of the song and its accompanying visual, fans have had a lot to say.  While little has been in support of the record, there were many more that have found disapproval with it.  Comments like “The name of the song ‘we abuse women’,” and I swear the jokes just write themselves at this point” began to appear on The Shade Room.

One user commented that in all of the slander, Chris Brown should be left out.  “Y’all can hate on Tory all y’all want but y’all gone lay off Christopher,” one user said amongst laughing emojis.  Previously, Brown shared his sentiment on people choosing to integrate him into other people’s issues, specifically in the heat of the Tory Lanez/Megan Thee Stallion incident.  “Leave my f*****g name out of someone else’s situation,” he wrote in a post to his IG Stories.
