A popular Youtuber that goes by the name of EDP445 is used to going viral as he has been the face of countless memes. Also known as the “crazy Eagles guy” due to him being a Philadelphia Eagles stan, this time EDP has gone viral but for ALL the wrong reasons.
A report from the website Dexerto states that EDP, real name Bryant Turman Emerson Moreland, is being accused of pedo behavior by a group of independent ‘hunters’ known as the Predator Poachers. Moreland, who has over 2 million subscribers on Youtube, seems to have been caught allegedly trying to meet up with a 13-year-old girl.
On April 18th, multiple screenshots and videos were uploaded to n Instagram account exposing Moreland’s interactions and messages with whom be was led to believe was a 13-year-old. Instead, it was actually the group who was behind it.
The group posted vulgar messages and photos of EDP on their account, which then led to a video of them confronting the popular Youtuber. “You did double text here, correct? Knowing she was 13?” they questioned him. Moreland’s response was a simple “correct.”
“So you initiated a conversation with a 13-year-old knowing she was 13,” they once again questioned as to get clarity. Once again, EDP responds with a simple, “correct.”
As of press time, no charges seem to have been filed or legal action has been taken against the Youtuber. Moreover, this is not the first time that it is being reported of EDP’s behavior. In October of last year, he was accused of trading messages with someone that he thought to be 17-years old. However, he was catfished by someone posing as a teenager.
In what seems to be a repetitive behavioral pattern for EDP, he had been accused of similar accusations in the past as well, leading him to make a video speaking against the accusations. EDP states that he was trolling those accounts that engaged with him, as he believed they were also troll accounts. He also claims to not be a pedo and that the thought grosses him out.
However, the fact that he admitted his actions to the Poachers seem to speak to untreated behavior. While some fans of the Youtuber in the past have believed his claims, some are calling for legal action to finally be taken against Moreland.
